This week’s reading was enjoyable for me. This is admittedly the first book I’ve read by Wayne Dyer so I can’t say I’ve been able to see the transformation of his writings from a psychological self-help style to the present spiritually-based one’s that he writes today. To give you some background, some people became turned off when he began to focus on the spiritual, but I have to say I enjoyed not only his writing style but the spiritual overtones as well. I didn’t find it overbearing and he writes in a way that is general to all beliefs.
I also enjoyed the stories he tells — they were both relevant and in many cases, touching. All in all I look forward to reading more of what Dyer has to offer and highly recommend this book.
