This week, Life Training Online is reviewing Law of Attraction: The Science of Attracting More of What You Want and Less of What You Don’t, by Michael Losier, the seventeenth of fifty-two books in the 52 Personal Development Books in 52 Weeks series.

In the final part of the book, Losier goes beyond the 3-step formula and shows how you can use the law of attraction to become more abundant and attract more money, how to apply it in your relationships, and concludes with how to teach the law of attraction to children.

Become More Abundant and Attract More Money

Losier stresses that abundance is really nothing more than a feeling; and because you can generate feelings by your words and thoughts, you can learn how to create feelings of abundance by intentionally changing how you use those words and thoughts. Whether you are pretending, creating, remembering, or even daydreaming, the law of attraction will not distinguish between them, it only responds to what you are vibrating. Therefore, deliberately including abundance as part of your vibration, the law of attraction will respond with abundance.

One of the actions you can take to help you include abundance in your baseline vibration is to record evidence of abundance in your life. This may be something as simple as a friend paying for your lunch to receiving an unexpected check in the mail. This encourages you to spend more time celebrating this abundance and having it become a natural part of your awareness.

Attracting Your Ideal Relationship

Attracting your ideal ‘relationship’ in this case is not exclusively someone who is a love interest, but includes business relationships, your relationship with your children, parents, students, clients, neighbors, and so on. And like anything else you want to attract into your life, you would use the 3-step formula: You decide what you want in the relationship you’re seeking, you give it attention and focus, and you allow it to happen by removing those limiting beliefs that are holding back the manifestation. (This section is just a reiteration of the previous section applied to relationships).

Teaching Children the Law of Attraction

When teaching children the law of attraction, the most important thing is to communicate with them at their level, using words they understand and relate to. ‘Manifestations’, ‘vibrations’ and ‘serendipity’ are usually words that children can’t get a firm grasp on. So number one is to keep your words simple.

Another tool you can use is to ask questions that get kids to relate to concepts from their own experience. For example, the simple act of using a light switch to turn on and off a light could represent the fact that we either are feeling positive emotion (emitting good vibrations) or negative emotion (emitting bad vibrations). Like a light switch, it’s either one or the other. Simple ideas like these are easy for kids to relate to.
