This week, Life Training Online is reviewing Law of Attraction: The Science of Attracting More of What You Want and Less of What You Don’t, by Michael Losier, the seventeenth of fifty-two books in the 52 Personal Development Books in 52 Weeks series.

There are only 141 pages in this book, and almost half of them are filled with illustrations, tables, and diagrams. The fact that it’s such a simple read, should not turn you off to reading this book though. True to his claim, Losier has indeed written a simple to understand book on the law of attraction.

With that in mind, if you’re new to the law of attraction, this is a great place to start. But, if you’re like me, and you’ve already read many books on the subject, this one honestly won’t provide much added value. I would stick with the Jerry and Esther Hicks books, or even The Secret. It’s not that this is a bad book by any means, it’s just a little elementary.

One of the main criticisms I do have with this book is that the author doesn’t focus on one of the most critical parts in manifesting one’s desire — action. I really do believe that the law of attraction will attract the necessary tools, ideas, people into your life to help you realize your desires, but it still comes down to getting off your duff and doing something more than dreaming. Wishful thinking just isn’t enough.
