Welcome to the Body for Life homepage! Here you will find my statistics and developments spanning a 12-week time period (for me, beginning Jan 15th 2007). The goal of this challenge is to improve the health & fitness of not only me but all those who decide to participate. If you haven’t already, be sure to read the Body for Life blog post for some background and how to get involved.

Below, you’ll find the statistics broken up into Body Weight (in pounds), Body Fat %, as well as individual body groups measured in inches. I use a Taylor bathroom scale to measure both weight and body-fat percentage, and a tape measure for the individual parts of the body. Beneath the statistics, you’ll find my before picture. 12 weeks from Jan 15th I’ll be posting my ‘after’ picture.

Again, you are more than welcome to participate publicly with me if you choose. I’ll be more than happy to post your before and after pictures as well as any other statistic-related information you wish to send. I really feel that part of reaching ones goals is to not only set a personal commitment to achieving it, but to also make a public declaration stating your desire to achieve your specific end. This creates accountability.

I’m more than happy to help you achieve this. For all those wishing to publicly participate with me (again, this is an ongoing challenge, so you can begin at any time), I’ll be willing to regularly follow up with you via email, to help you stay on track. It’s also a great way for me to stay motivated! Just indicate in your email to me if that is something you want me to do.
