Today I finished my first week on the 12-week Body for Life program. If you’ve ever seen the before & after pics that are on their website and in the magazines, you may have a hard time believing those people truly achieved such dramatic results in only 12 weeks. That’s partly why I’m interested in testing out to the program. With that in mind, I’ve set up a separate page dedicated to not only my progress, but to others interested in improving their current state of health & fitness.
On the Body for Life Home Page, you can keep track of my progress through the 12 weeks. I hope that others too will join, so that we can all share in each others success.
Each week, I’ll be updating the ongoing statistics such as body weight, fat percentage and measurements of different muscle groups. My goal is to increase muscle and aerobic capacity, and decrease body fat. Because muscle weighs more than fat, I may actually have gained weight at the end of this program. However, body fat will be the key variable to watch throughout this experiment.
To keep it easy to track, I’ve included a “Current Experiments” section on the left navigation bar. This will allow you to easily access the page if you want to quickly check out the progress over the next 12 weeks. As a side note, I’ve also created another menu item called “Previous Experiments” which tracks previous personal experiments that I’ve undertook.
